I wanted to share a bit of a personal win with you—mostly because it’s a nice change from me staring blankly at a blinking cursor until I consider a career in sheep farming.
Lately, I’ve hit this incredible stride with my writing. You know how sometimes creating content feels like trying to push a grand piano up a flight of stairs? Well, for the last week or so, the stairs have turned into a slide.
I’ve been back to writing and sharing almost every single day, and I’ve got to tell you, it’s been a total joy (and relief – I thought my brain was a permanent dead battery). I’ve stopped treating trying to express ideas like a “job” and started treating it like I’m building a library for myself—one slightly chaotic brick at a time.
So it’s a little less overthinking everything (mostly) and instead leaning into the daily flow. It turns out, when you stop shouting at the muse to show up, she actually pulls up a chair.
I’ve put out a few things this past week or so that I’m actually really chuffed with. They’re basically a map of my brain lately—minus the parts that are just wondering if I left the oven on:
- Making the Connections Easy – consistency isn’t just about repetition; it’s about integration – says Captain Obvious.
- The Art of the Unexpected Pivot– A quick, sharp observation that felt right to get off my chest before my coffee went cold.
- Focus On Measurable Objectives– Even when it feels like your life choices that got you here were a mistake.
It feels good to be back in the rhythm. It’s a solid reminder that sometimes you just have to keep showing up until the magic decides to stop being difficult and joins in.
Thanks for being on the other end of these—it makes the daily habit feel a lot more like a conversation and a lot less like I’m shouting into a canyon.
Catch you soon,
A
