It has been five long months since we last felt your energy from the stage. Five months since the City Bowl felt the full force of a DeadBeats set, and if we’re being honest, our weekends haven’t felt quite right without you.
We’ve spent that time sharpening the setlist, cranking the amps, and waiting for the moment we could finally tell you: the wait is over.
On Saturday, 23 May, we are coming home to the iconic Woodstock Brewery, and we want you right there in the front row with us. We aren’t just playing a gig; we’re hosting a reunion. We’re bringing an extended show—part nostalgia, part high-octane rock, and 100% of that alternative 80s energy you’ve been craving.
Here is what we have planned for you:
- The Soundtrack: We’re taking you on a curated journey through the best of Simple Minds, The Cult, Tears for Fears, and Duran Duran. These are the anthems we were born to play and you were meant to sing.
- The Venue: We’re heading back to our favourite spot, Woodstock Brewery. They’ve got the beer, we’ve got the songs, and together we’ve got the biggest dancefloor in the city.
- The Mission: We need you to be the hero of your inner circle. Round up the crew, grab a table, and show the sceptics that “80s music” is so much more than cheesy synth-pop.
